Friends, welcome to the website of Kiwanyi Miracle Centre Church HIV/AIDS Care and Support Association a registered Organization working within the Church (Kiwanyi Miracle Centre) located at Kiwanyi Village, Nawandala Sub-County, Kigulu County Iganga District (Busoga Region – Uganda Republic).
This Organization exists by the grace of God to care for and support Orphans and Vulnerable Children in families infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in and around our communities. Once again Pastor Kaleebi David the Programme Founder and Director welcomes you to this website. Pastor Kaleebi David is also the Senior Pastor of Kiwanyi Miracle Centre Church.

Meet Pastor Kaleebi David...............

Besides is Pastor Kaleebi David the Programme Director of the Organization (Kiwanyi Miracle Centre Church HIV/AIDS Care & Support Association) and Senior Pastor Kiwanyi Miracle Centre. He is an ambitious and courageous servant of the Lord who has done so much to change the lives of people in and around Kiwanyi, Spiritually, Physically and Emotionally. He is a mentor of many through the grace and wisdom that God has given him.
He was born in a Polygamous family in 1960 in Kiwanyi village, Kigulu county, Iganga District. He is married to Beatrice Mutakubwa and they have 6 Children. Pastor Kaleebi David got saved in 1989 but before that, he was a distiller and distributor of alcohol and attended the an Anglican church.
His calling as a Pastor came about in 1990 when the Lord instructed him to start a Church but under the umbrella of Miracle Centre. |

Kiwanyi Miracle Centre Church in brief.....

This church was opened up in 1989 with the purpose of opening up people’s eyes and turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God (Acts 26:18) by now we have 200 Christians 80 adults and 120 children pastured by Pr. Kaleebi David plus improving the quality of life of people through Christian values and 3 other churches opened up (Namugalwe, Busiiki Kibaale, Buwuni Kibimba). This church is affiliated to Highway of Holiness (Miracle Centre) NGO’s Board in Uganda. The Church also gave birth to Kiwanyi Miracle Centre Church HIV/AIDS Care and Support Association in 1996 to give care and support to OVCs within homes affected and infected with HIV/AIDS |

Briefly About the HIV/AIDS, Ovcs Care & Support Association

In 1996 Kiwanyi Miracle Centre Church came together and formed a ministry of HIV/AIDS Care and Supporting OVCs and Widows due to this problem statement.
Iganga district is one of the districts in Uganda that has been badly hit with HIV/AIDS disease and its stagnant prevalence at 7% today, has remained a threat to the community especially the children whose parents have been victimized. This has negatively impacted on the social and economic status of the families affected where orphans, vulnerable children and care givers are left at crossroads. According to information gathered by our organization and that from the office of the Direct of the District Health Services shows that the number of orphans and vulnerable children has increased (Find more in about Us page).

Linking people from various cultural back ground into strategic friendship forming a global net-work of God loving people and reducing spread of HIV/AIDS to improve on the lives of people in the community.
VISION:
To have a God fearing community sensitized and responsible in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
GOAL:
Raise up committed ministers in the community and to reduce on the rate of HIV infection in the world. |
